I want to add a remote oil filter kit to my 03 Dakota R/T and I wanted to know if anyone else has done this and if so which brand did you use. Since moving to the Royal Purple oil I do not have to change the oil as often but they recommend changing the filter between 3,000 and 4,000 miles.

I want to change the filter location to under the hood with some added cooling. Any ideas?

Amsoil has a very nice kit, they offer both a 1 or 2 filter kit, pretty expensive compared to the others out there, but I have heard that they make one of the BEST and the filteration is also excellent.

Thanks for the info. I looked at their web site and found the unit that fits. Your right about pricey but the system looks beefy and professionally made.

Filters are a bit high but they claim that you only have to change them twice a year so it should come out to be even in cost.

Does anyone want to start a group buy?
