I used to be on here lots when I drive a White 2000, V6, Auto, 2wd Club Cab.
About a year and a half ago I bought a Black 2005, V6, Auto 2wd Club Cab.
The 2000 to repair was half the cost of my 2005 thats the reason I bought it and got rid of the 2000. I seen there isnt much love or support for them on here. So Ive been else where.

2005 When I first Bought it.

2000 Buried in Snow

Cap removed and Sold, Backrack off 2000 and New Black Toolbox installed

Accident (16 year old girl ran into the side of it (I was on the street and she pulled out of a parking lot), and drove away. I Followed her to her house, and so did my brother (He coincidentally was in the Parking lot aswell)
$1300 to fix, I got $400 of it, Since i removed some parts, and didnt have them redo the bumper or replace the mudflaps

Fixed

Biggest thing so far.
Replace the Lower Radiator support, Not where as easy as it was on the 2000. I had to have one Custom Fabbed up. OEM would fit without removing spot welds on the side supports at the cab.

Old Support Cut off with a grinder

Undercoated everything since I had both Fenders off

OEM Support (bought I before I started, Its painted in Bed-liner)

New Custom Made Support (No Tube steel or spots for water to pool, so it cant rust so easy again) Also painted in Bedliner

Lots of TLC going on there. It took me 7 years to finally like the way the 05-08 dakota body style looks. I ONLY like them as long as there isn't any chrome on the truck like yours, the chrome makes them look cheap IMO. Diggin how your '05 looks.
