Pull flange with harmonic balancer tool. This works better than teh Ratech tool

Air hammer for main pinion bearing

Set new race using old race and seal driver

New races in

Ratech solid space instead of crush sleeve

Solid spacer on new pinion with dummy bearings

Vs crush sleeve on old pinion

Leave a couple of bolts to beat the old ring gear off. Need to get the reluctor ring off

Use shop press to hold new carrier for torquing

Press new pinion bearing on with exhaust pipe

Backlash

Axle bearing. Carrier adjuster bearing is seen inside

Turn flange around and use it to set the new seal

And on 2000 and older, go with rear disc brakes. Night and day difference

Put your old LSD in a cat litter bucket. It gives the trash guy a handle to pick it up with.

Rear disc under 15 inch wheels

Final install. Dont forget the little clips on the carrier caps that keep the adjusters from backing off.
