Also I’d plan on switching out the stock axle shafts with the Yukon chromolys for more strength
Ram 1500 Dana 44 SAS
So I have 2004 Dakota regular cab 4.7 4x4. I’m finally to the point where I can take her off the road and buy a new truck
This I will give me time to do a SAS. Something I’ve always wanted to do.
I have a donor truck. A 2001 ram 1500. It has a drivers side Dana 44. I get that they aren’t thestrongest axle but still stronger that the ifs I currently have wheeling 265’s. I’d like to wheel with 305’s or 285’s with 4:10s and ELockers.
has anyone seen or heard of a ram 1500 axle swap? I could use a lot of the components to keep cost down possibly
