Almost every track usually has some sort of test n tune night where you can go out and race at a leisurely pace for $5-15 at most, it's a great place to practice your launches before the bigger events that cost more money.

I was there once just to watch though you guys have a lot of rice over that way we don't where I live but at the track there is a few but they have to go in the respective class they belong in so if you have a turbo, nos, or blower you are in the hot-rod class and the rice usually gets worked and if they are n/a it is even better there was a Lancer with a stick and he had a 23 sec et on his window I didn't see his run but I laughed for a good half hour

thats what I thought this is just a lancer not the evo but still, my sister has a ford escort that goes faster than 23 sec in the 1/4 mile. that lancer was weak and sad. I am glad I didn't sell out to that fast and the furious crap and buy a Power Wheel oh wait those go faster too.

yeah regular lancers arnt fast at all but, if that were an evo 8, it probably send some daks crying home to mama.EVOs stock times on quaters are like low 15s or high 14s. And with a little work they get down to 12s easy

The R/T's stock time is mid 15's in the quarter and you can get it to run 12's for a lot less than the lancer. you don't have to strip the truck to go fast either I have four 10's where the back seat is suppost to be in a custom MDF box and I run low 13's and I don't have much $$$ in the truck yet.

So to sum things up the lancer can run 12's.
A Dakota can run 12's too.

But a Dakota looks good and sounds good running 12's

Dude i am not here to argue what "could" be faster all im saying is dont underestimate some vehicles. I drive an R/T, i know exactly how fast they can be, I was giving people a heads up, that there lancers out there that are able to go as fast as a R/T.So chill out, by the way, what do you drive?:)

I'm sorry I thought you were just trying to get into it. I guess I am just on edge right now because I just had a death in the family. once again I am sorry for getting on you like that you were just trying to help.

I drive a 2002 dakota R/T I don't want to list what I have until it's done then I will put in the profiles.
