I have a dakota r/t and I am going to put new tires on. I dont know what to get, i want a good tire that is going to hook up, but won't kill the wallet? Any suggestions?

kumho ecsta asx. Better than the ecsta 711 in every area except sidewall stiffness (asx is softer) but that makes the asx more comfy (slightly). Cheap too...

thats what i got on my dak with the r/t wheels on her. nitto tires..rides good, nice traction too. (but then agian, i have the v6...hehe) :biggthump

I like my Khumo 711's once they warm up they hook up pretty nice, if cold you can forget about it. Time to drift :mullet:

I have BFGoodrich Scrotchers on mine and they hook up nicely. THey ran me about 162 per tire. They were probably that much, becuase they are yellow. :biggthump

I'm running the stock size Kumho 711's. They are a pretty good all-around tire. Good dry traction. Though, whenever i lower my truck im thinking about going with the 255/50 STX up front and the 275/60 STX out back....same setup as adam.

i got bridgestone dueler h/p and they hook up real nice, cant do too many burnouts there a real sticky tire about 220.00 a piece about but there real nice and worht every penny in my opinion

I put on Yokohama 275/55/17 all around excellent wet and dry traction, but I don't know how they hook at the track.

you know as cruddy as the rs-a tires are, i'm surprised they are apparently oem on many many cars and trucks! what gives there?

Try Toyo their about half the price as the Goodyear’s and they hook up nice.
