I have a 2000 R/T rc and in the last 2-3 weeks i've been having problems with my passenger side lock. Anytime i go to lock the door, and occassionally unlock as well, the lock itself is making a really loud, almost grinding-like noise. Weird thing is, the lock still functions, as in it locks/unlocks, but that grinding noise is SOOO loud.
Just wondering if anyone has experienced this and if so what the proper fix is?
Also wondering, if I do have to replace my locking mechanism, how tough is it?(keeping in mind, i'm not a mechanic, but I am capable of doing most of my own work)
