99 Dango, 5.2, 44re. Anyone know if the tranny fluid circulates in "N"? Been having cold shifting problems and I warmed it up this morning before work in "N" instead of "P" as usual and it did not have any problems. Thanks

I let the truck idle in "N" as well. The first thing I do is turn the engine on, and put it in nuetral. Brake is set already. While idling, I put on seat belt, ect. Takes about 30 seconds to 1 minute.
As mentioned, I have always done this.

this is very intersting - never heard of doing this before. So the idea is to warm up the tranny fluid a bit before driving? I was always under the impression that leaving the tranny in P sort of did the same thing. I think I might starting shifting to neutral...
