I have a 99 R/T and it has a jet chip in it and i want to take it out but im not sure if i need a stock one or if i can just pull it out and it will run fine, also will i need to reset the computer or something? any advice would be greatly apriciated.

should be able to just pull it out. i don't think you would have to reset anything. You might not even notice a difference when you pull it out

he's right just unplug it remove and put it back to stock.

Yep, it's inline.

I recommend disconnecting the battery. In the instruction book it says to disconnect the negative side before installing. So I'm sure it's the same thing removing it. It's easy to do, so it's better safe than sorry. Disconnect the battery, remove the chip, and plug the wire back into the computer. It should be in the black plug.
