Hey folks! New here to the site. I’ve been fortunate enough to acquire a 1998 Durango 4x4 with the 360 in awesome condition from doing a bathroom remodel . I have the rocking chair issue with the power drivers seat. It’s not the wore out washer issue , a dorman replacement part , which is the only replacement part I can find . When I pull the seat out I’ll replace those too . There’s 2 of these parts under the seat , plastic and almost looks like a pitch fork .Only 1 of them are broken. Obsolete now of course and can’t seem to find it anywhere. Junkyard here doesn’t have it and they said that they would have to sell the entire seat , just for that little part . If anyone can point me in the right direction that would be much appreciated! Happy to be here at the forum . Take care!

No luck on the part. It’s obsolete and no longer available of course. Our junkyards here in the Anchorage Alaska area don’t have any seats or parts either. Have to buy the entire used seat bottom though eBay , it’s about $150 bucks. JackRey I’ll get you a picture as soon as I can get a close up of the other part just like it under the drivers seat, ( there’s two of them) . Thanks for the response.

I had a similar issue with my 2000 D (one of the motors was burned out) and found that parts are no longer available for D Gen 1 seats. So I just bought the entire seat frame on EBay. There are a few sellers that refurbish the seat frame before they sell to make sure everything works. Prices are between $150 to $200.

Yep probably true. I know that those parts are probably in a dusty package on a parts shelf at some random dodge dealer somewhere. With the parts diagrams broken down I can’t find a part number. On the broken parts there are no numbers on them anywhere. I will buy the complete seat bottom from eBay around $113-$200 is what prices I’ve seen.
