I have a 2005 Dodge Dakota SLT. I am getting ready to change the shocks on it soon. While everything was up and off, I was entertaining changing out the bushings with polyurethane bushings. I had done this before on my 1998 Dakota back when I had that.

Unfortunately, I am unable to find any anywhere. Energy Suspensions, Suspensions.com, Jegs, Summit Racing, LMC, etc. do not offer any sets for some reason. Everything cuts off at 2004 model year for Dakota and Durango. Has anyone had success finding polyurethane bushing for this generation? Is there another model (Ram 1500, Jeep Liberty, etc.) that would fit? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I did a set on my '02 a few years back and they were great for a while. For whatever reason they got really squishy after the first year and then really softened up after two or three years. I broke a shock bolt that I couldn't get out, the bad bushings, and balljoints due for an refurb so instead put in all new Mevotech Supreme upper and lower arms. Rated better than Moog nowadays. Still solid and still quiet.
