Hello,
I need to buy a valve spring compressor to get my heads broken down. My other one is in Oregon.
Can you recommend a decent valve spring compressor that you have used for the 4.7?
It looks like there are some that can be used with the camshaft still in the head and some not. That would be nice but this special tool is very expensive at $85. I would rather a general purpose one that I could use with the cam in or out. What do you think?

Thanks,
Kevin

Thanks for the tip, its mine now! $20.00 shipping seemed a bit steep but the price was right. Not even sure I'm going to replace springs or not but decided it was to good to pass up. Just hope my 135psi compressor is up to the task if and when I go to use it. I have some HO cams to install but I want bigger.:woot:

i have at least 4 sets of tools between the 4.7L engine, jeep and dakota. the case is kinda heavy, that's why shipping sucks
