[RT/Ralphis]

Anyone know off the top of their head the "OD" of the tailpipe ? I am thinking of chopping off some of the end of the pipe and putting a 4" ID by 24" pipe ... just to get some extra sound from my 5.9L ... or should I stick with a 3" ID by 16" pipe ... anyone know ? :help:

Factory ID is 2.5" and most aftermarket kits are 3" ID, I'd just do 3" from the cat-back.

Went to my shop yesterday and got my end pipe replaced with a nice 45' angled tip ... will post pics shortly ... looks sweet ! Now for the muffler ! :biggthump

I'll bet changing the last 16-24 inches didn't change the sound much

From far you are correct ... but from close, the HUMMMMMMM sounds sweeter ! Much sweeter ...... but the exhaust fumes knocked me out for
awhile ... :banana2:
