the openings are right in front of the air filter and they never get wet driving threw the rain

ok cause ive heard of people sucking in water through their intakes and hydro-locking their engines but i always thought that that could only happen if the intake was submerged in water, not when rain got on it. just wanted to make sure.

Water droplets and small amounts of water are not going to hurt. It takes a solid slug of water entering the cylinder to lock or break/bend parts.

I got this friggin hood but the passenger side wiper arm hits the middle dimple. Anyone else have simular problem? Does anyone know of a shorty wiper arm that would fit?

I used 2 different hoods. There was a member on here that had the idea but sold his truck. He had already skinned a factory hood and cut out how wide it would be. I bought that and another stock hood from him and finished the project. I bent the edges down and welded and then fiberglassed it to the factory hood. So it is a one off cowl hood. Just now prepping the truck for paint.

EDIT: Here's a couple. Please note that this is not my truck, nor are they my pictures, and therefore I cannot claim credit. Looks good though. Might have to get one at some point.
