Yup, they are a tad bit tricky. If I remember correctly I had to tighten the adjustments all the way down to get the correct angle. The ballast for the halo's come with extremely short wire coming out of the backside of the light, I simple stuck 'em right there with the double sided tape. All the light fittings have silicone grease applied, I haven't had any water issues. Access to the mounting bolts requires some patience and a few beers.

Thanks!:mullet:

The hood does require some work. The air inlets in the front are sealed from the factory mould. You have to cut them out and widen it at the same time to make it look right. If you follow the same lines as the inlet it will look small and odd looking by the time its all done so port it! Once cut open you will have a void between the two layers to fill in and smooth.

Then you need to cut 3/4" off the cowl so the wipers will clear the hood, otherwise your going to need wiper arms from something else and that's not easy.

On the bottom off the cowl you have a solid piece that meets the firewall. I drilled out and fit four 2" PVC pipes through to allow for air flow.

I added a 1/4" plate to the hood latch to raise it. It's just that much shorter. Plus you'll want to cut open the area where the latch meets the hood.

And finally hood adjustment once installed. I had to trim out the hinge holes an additional 1/4" towards the back to get the gap right between the door hood and fender. It might not be required for every fit.

Always test fit everything prior to paint. The wipers are important and you won't know it until you turn them on.

lol I was talking about the headlights not lining up, not the hood. but either way you did a great job on both from what i can see in your pictures. I never personally liked that style hood, but something about your truck does make me like it though.
