The gauge faces are different.
1997-1998 are very similar to 1999-2000 - some products are done separately, and some are built so it covers all four years.
2001-2004 are different than 97-00 - the layout gaps are slightly different, the tach is different (7000rpm vs. 6000rpm for 97-00), and there is a 3-dimensional bezel up front.
