Hey for anyone using an optima red top, what did u do about the battery tie down? My truck didn't have one when i bought it but I'd like to get one to keep the battery from sliding around in the box. Does an oem dodge one work? Thanks for any insight!

The OEM Dodge strap should work with an Optima battery, you'll just need to crank down on the bolts a lot more than usual because it's not as tall. There is a variety of billet battery straps available for the Dakota/Durango as well, any of them should work with the Optima battery. You can check on E-Bay or try this link:

To get the stock hold downs to work, just ditch the box. The box is too big for the Optima.
