Did these come stock from the factory?? I never heard of a 6.7L 408....

It's a stroker motor.....and actually its a 406. I'm guesing the guy didnt go all the way with stroking it (hehe....), since most people who will stroke a 360 go to 408.

It's the same stroke as a 408, but he only bored the engine out .020" which gives the 406 rating. As backwards as this might sound, it's actually better - it means he had to bore less material from the cylinders, which gives them a thicker/sturdier wall.
