Okay so I recently done some exhaust work myself on my 00 4.7 Dakota, I had a bad leak before the converter, because of its location I had to remove it to fix it and I moved it a little further back, anyone know if I can splice a price of wire to make my sensor reach the back side of cat? I'm expecting to use connectors solder and shrink tubing.. Thanks

Welcome!

Yes you can - as long as you extend the TRUCK SIDE of the harness. Do not attempt to splice/extend the sensor's pigtail because it will wreck the sensor. Make sure you use marine-grade tubing also. It has a heat-activated glue lining on the inside of the tubing that melts and waterproofs the splice.
