just so you guys know the Dakota that won last month was not stock. nor should that matter if it was or was not. what dose mods have anything to do with it. i know guys with classic cars and their worst enemy is a old mustang or whatever with some aftermarket shit on it.

honestly it semi is popularity but you just need to get the word out there that this is starting up again. Hell the mod that started this said that my opponent could win just on popularity. See alot of people who are semi new or dont know alot about the site and get informed dont vote based on popularity.

See, you even admit thats its based on popularity and who you know and who you blow...make it so that you have to post a self-nomination with pics and bio then let the forum users decide...its that how most car shows happen....viewing the vehicles and judging based on craftsmanship, detail and overall appearance....not because you guy knows another or cause they try to keep each other on top always, never letting in the other guys

I wouldnt expect mine to win and I have been wrenching and fabbing for 10 years on it. I let mine speak for itself at real shows not Durango of the month. It would be a nice honor but oh well. What I want my D to look like might not be what the rest of the Community likes.

thats the main problem. no one is voting on all the hard work, styling, and performance. there voting on the person who knocks on the most doors. its like politics. the vote reflects the winner, but how many times does it work out for the best? almost never, but at least you got a i voted pin.

Take this scenario: Two identical top-notch trucks going for TOTM. One of them belongs to your best friend. Who are you going to vote for?

As far as changing how TOTM works, you need to post up in the Site Suggestions forum. I understand what you're saying though, but I see a problem. Everyone and their Brother's Cousin's Aunt's Grandma will be self-nominating themselves. You're only allowed 12 choices per poll.

ok...i do see what your saying, i only suggest that the truck of the month be based on who puts up pics and bios...as far as voting for your best friends truck and their competitor...i honestly can say the best truck gets my vote, if his truck sucks, it sucks
