Posting pics in the solicitation thread only increases your chances of being nominated. Just because you post pics in the solicitation thread does not automatically get you nominated into the running. Another forum member has to nominate you.

Not sure what you're trying to say here Steve. We only received 7 total nominations from 4 users this month for Durangos.

He's talking shit that there's at least 200 registered 5-door whores, but only 4 people bothered to send in nominations.

The return of the TOTM program is still new - as it sticks around for a few months I suspect that the nominations will grow. However, it has always been hard to get people to step forward and submit nomations - I think the most people that ever participated was ~35, which is sad considering there is over 4,000 unique visitors per day.

I'll look into this.

The previous way I used to process all of the TOTM pages required direct shell access to the server to store all of the files/photos/thumbnails, along with a few hours of time to get it all prepared. I wasn't able to reliably devote that much time/attention on a timely basis at the first of every month, so the program was shelved for awhile.

Now we've brought it back but we are trying to make it work exclusively within the forum without any outside storage/links, that way any of the system moderators can keep it going and not require a ton of maintenance to get it done. I'm not sure if we can easily add thumbnails to the polls without requiring outside storage/links. One solution may be to add photos to the first post of the poll rather than integrate them into the poll itself like we did in the past.

actually its luck of the draw. its rigged to the max for friends to win. i wasnt even nominated this month. how the hell does that even happen? and the dakota poll is even worse. last month the winner had a dakota.... thats it, a plain ass dakota! at least this month theres a fast one, and the other has a tb and some wax. no votes from me for either.
