That is not necessarily true, follow the tech sheets for the products you are using. There are products that allow a cut and buff within hours drying. There are products that will get as hard as a rock when waiting weeks and will make the job miserable trying to C&B.
Waxing should not be done immediately. Always follow the tech sheets, they supply them for a reason.
damn, i agree

I do too. although wax was never applied, but the truck is a constant ongoing project since he lives with me, Its been one thing after another and we have been crossing things off the list. After all, it is a farm truck

nice work, tex. did you ever buff it?
No not yet. He hasnt had the money, and me living 4 hours away (him living 30 minutes away) hasnt allowed us to cordinate meeting times to get it done. Its a farm truck. I know it looks bad, but Before winter hits, We will have it done. I have it on my list to do, and its at the bottom of his, so what ever I have left of the compunds and time when i move back down, it will get done.

I advise against the 305 its more of a gas guzzler then the 350 is even though its supposedly a smaller engine it takes more gas. The truck looks good though.
thanks man, and yea we are weighing the options. Anything that is better than his beaten down v6 is considered. It has more than 200k on the clock, and been abused being on a farm.
