Have a lead on a possiblly FREE auto trans for the dakota.
It would need a complete rebuild.

Aguy I work with did a new trans. in a 2wd dakota. Things been sitting their for six months. Trans had no forward gears. I am thinking if picking it up to have a spare if mine went all the sudden.

Question is would it be worth it to pick it up and throw so goodies in it. Or is it toast? Like I said it had no forward gears. I think the planitaries broke on it.

Would have no problem rebuilding just want to know cost on parts I could be looking at.
