It didn't, but I would say I'm from Detroit to strangers even though I'm actually from Grosse Pointe because everyone knows where Detroit is, but not Grosse Pointe.

I see, I'm less than 45 minutes from detroilet but I've never heard of Grosse Pointe and you've probably never heard of Ottawa Lake.
