Well here it is..my truck used to look like this after I get rid of the chrome bumpers and grille. Here is a little build for you all to see. Ignore the black stockers...chrome r/t's are going on within a month

Painted SS mirrors will be going back on, gotta figure out grille inserts probably SS, grille relocate mod, shaved tailgate, r/t wheels, lowered maybe 2" more in the rear. I want to give a HUGE thanks to Jake aka Shrek for all the hardwork that he put into the project. Couldnt ask for anything better!

I think the truck looks better all white.

And Jake always does amazing work
That looks really good, can't wait for the "finished" pictures with the new rims on.

Off Topic, do you get stopped a lot for how your plate is mounted? I'm in MD as well and was just thinking about removing it but that looks a tad bit "better" then just not having one.
Thanks guys

They might be on tomorrow...i have only driven it once but i dont think i will. i sure hope not...jake has his like that and his jake is lime green so they will get him for anything...no stops yet
in md, the plate can't be blocked. but since it doesn't cover any letter/number, he should be good... i had mine like that for the longest time on the 97.

they're more worried about the rear tag
Dude that rear bumper looks SWEEEET, like what we did on mid 70's muscle cars just gotta tuck em in a bit! Great job:)
where you get them green hids they look tits
Ive never see a stock Dakota bumper smoothed over like that before. It looks awesome. Good job.

Thanks guys, here is a slightly updated picture...I got my r/ts put on...gonna lower it another 1/2.5 so its like a 3/4.5 or maybe make it lowered to 4/4.5...

Also I got my Vertically Challenged hood badge and installed

Looks great!
I would suggest to stick with the 3/4.5 drop. 4 on the front would pretty a little too rough. 3 you will probably have a rough time already going through big dips or speed bumps.
I know I had problems.
What size of tires did you go with after all?
I just ordered 255/50/17s for the back on my truck and they look great. I think I am going to try to get that size all the way around.

Yeah i think imma do the 3/4.5 drop, I went with 255/45, i thought about doing 255/50s in the rear too but decided not to
That truck is sick! Sorry this is the first time I read this thread and had to say it. Love how you did both bumpers too.
