you will gain both power and milege with those style set-ups,but the gains are not out of this world so don't get to excited.now the cool part,you will never have to buy another filter again.just keep that one clean and oiled.

I decided to just replace my stock filter with a K&N replacement. paid about $45 for it. So far so good, I'll burn through a few tanks and let ya know if I see an increase in MPG.

OK, I've had my K&N replacement filter in for a few tanks. I've noticed a bit of an increase in MPG. maybe one or two miles. I think it's a good value though if I won't have to buy a new filter again.
