Well, here is my latest project. 89 with a 2.5 5 speed. Waiting in the garage is a 383 and 4 speed that has been looking for a new home. Always looking for ideas!!
Oh Yea...The cap went bye bye Wednesday night. Paid $250 for the truck, sold the topper for $150!! Gonna drive it as is (143,400 and runs great) for now while I patch up the body, lower, etc., etc. Then 383 transplant begins!
Later....................
sounds like a plan to me, thats funny you paid $250 and sold the cap for $150 so you got the truck for $100, thats sweet, well good luck with the project.
ive always wanted to have a gen 1 project truck like that, if that were my truck id toss in the 383 and 4 speed and just leave everything alone on the truck...the cap, the rust and rot, stock wheels and keep it a sleeper...imagine the look on the guy with the nice mustang or camaro that you kill...but thats just my opinion...good luck with the project! :mullet:
dude u would need at least new rims for some slicks but they would just think ur dumb and 2ndly it wouldnt be much of a sleeper with a big block under the hood loping like crazy so might as well make it look cool its not a honda here with a turbo LOL
People used to think my dak was a sleeper when I first put the 360 in it, till I fired it up. Something about 3 inch one chamber flowmasters dumping right under the cab changed that LOL.
