When it rains it poors,
Drove to work this morning,No problem
Trans had messed up at lunch
At lunch it wouldnt go forward or reverse after it warmed up (Two minutes)
Towed it home on a flat bed
Going to remove the pan in the morning
Looking for any signs of metal
Fluid looks nice and clean,No ordor

Hope I dont find to much

Wonder if its worth getting a beater and drive it for a month and WAIT

I normally take time off this time of year and this year is longer than in the past. I will be on vacation from Oct 19th - Nov 15th. damn, id say look around for a quality trans shop around your area. got any? if not, you could always take it out yourself, then ship it to someone. pm me for info if you want to go that route. probably have it back in a week or two.

Rented a car,
Looks bad but what what would I know
Took it to a transmission shop
Now with the guy looking at it today for me and waiting for a call back

Got D back tonight from the transmission shop
Torque converter failure,Took out most of everything that was inside
Took him just two days to get it done
Thought that was good
1950 for the whole thing with the parts and labor
Alot of money,But it was just to heavy to push back and forth to work
Could of saved on FUEL there
Sounds like new,He replaced even the rear u-joint that was making a bit of noise when you shift for sometime

hope you put in a heavy duty towing converter in there, or a protirqu 2200-2500 stall converter. i would have. i did this on my ram, and my mpg went up by about 1.5-2mpg.
