Has anyone here tried the Mothers Powerball on chrome wheels? I noticed in all of their ads that it doesn't mention that it can clean chrome. It looks like it would save a lot of time. I was just curious how good they worked before I bought one. Also if anyone knows where the best prices are for one please let me know.

as long as you use the right compound I don't see why it wouldn't work. It's basically a multi-planar buffer so it'll work with whatever you put on it. I've used it to clean the lexan windshield on my bike it worked pretty awsome and got all the way down into the "dashboard" area without having to take it off, saves loads of time

It may be the quick and easy way to shine rims but you just can't beat Gold's carwashing soap to get the best shine.

Where did you get yours from? The only place i've found them where on ebay. I don't never see them at walmart or any place like that. Maybe autozone will have them.

I got one at this auto place by my house. Cheapest price around 22$.
As for how it works it works ok. Seems to work better if the wheels arent really too far gone. if theire really oxidized then you need to have them professionally buffed. Seems more like a maintenance sort of a tool ( upkeep) rather than a full on restorer. for 22$ ill keep it around. The place I got it at was called Autobacks. its one of those places where they sell all kinds of crap for import cars and have a bunch of kids that think they are mechanics in the service bays. Good prices on their services but I dotn think Ill betaking my car there to have soem snotnosed kid working on it.

Its good stuff..... iv used it on my aluminum wheels and it works great.....i squeezed the stuff on the ball first and it threw the cleaner around a little but as long as your not wearing your sundays best youll be aloright.....i think its 100 work the 25 bucks for the ball....
