Isn't there some way of taking the stock beer barrel intake and welding in some channels inside to make it resemble an M-1?? I have a TIG and wanted to try. I figured if I make some channels that go directly into the ports it would work better than just being completely open and maybe give me some better top end, (which I lack badly). Anyone heard of this or done it?? Any suggestions?

Well i am taking it to the track this saturday and I wanted something quick to help a little with my top end. My Mopar PCM changes my shifts to 5200RPM and by that time it feels like I am way past my power band and i'm just reving. It feels like ive completely stopped accelerating until it shifts to the next gear then i feel the throw back again and it takes off. Any tips before saturday??

Besides the PCM and headers it has a K&N FIPK, I shaved the TB down and polished it, MSD, underdrive pulleys, and 3 inch exhaust with a flowmaster 40 muffler.

I havn't blown the plenum gasket, Ive been checking it since it went in my last Dakota. It passed the vaccuum test and I have no oil accumulating in the manifold.

Is there any pictures or a how to type thing to help me with filling and/or making runners in my stock IM?
