Here's my problem:
I switched a 5.9 (engine, trans, ecu, exhaust, etc...) from a 99 R/T into a truck that was a 2000 SLT 3.9L. Everything is in and runs fine but I am missing a plug on the truck for the after-the-cat O2 sensor. The 99' 5.9 has 4 O2 sensors .... one below each manifold, one on the inlet side of the catalytic convertor, and one behind (downstream) the cat. The 5.9's engine wiring harness has the first three O2 sensor connectors but the last sensor plugs into the chassis harness on the 99 and isn't a part of the 2000 chassis harness (at least not on this V6 truck)
I'm thinking if I can find a wiring diagram for the connectors at the ECU I can run wires directly from the ECU to the last O2 sensor.
And yes, I'm in NC and they do emissions tests here so I have to have it in order to get it inspected.
The 2000 SLT didn't have the exhaust when I bought it so I don't know how many O2 sensors it had so maybe someone with a 2000 3.9 and or 5.9 can tell me how many O2 sensors they have and that may help some.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
