meth injection

didnt really know where to put this, but i know some of you with superchargers and such are running meth, figured i'd put it in here for some better answers. just wondering, what are the benefits/cons to running meth injection on a N/A engine? is it even safe to do? my truck came with one that he was using with the supercharger, but the s/c'r isnt in there anymore, and the meth injection isnt hooked up anymore, but i was thinking about it today and wondered what it would do for me N/A.....i went to the company website and it was saying it would be ok to run meth/water injection on a N/A engine, but i wanted to check with people who have experience first. any input is appreciated. thanks guys.

Don't bother, sell the kit. Small single digit gains, if that.
run more timing with the increase of octane from the meth. Maybe a little cooler temps but not much other than that.

yea. i went out while ago and hooked it up just for shits n giggles. it doesnt really do anything other than possibly help with mileage very slightly. it did seem to idle a little smoother too...could have been my imagination though.

it should not affect idle because it should not be spraying at idle. Normally they are set to come on at a certain amount of boost. I guess you could rig something so that it comes on when it sees a certain rpm and WOT.
By just reading the thread title I thought that this thread was about something different :funny:
What s/c are you running? I ask 'cause I have a kenne bell in which I plan to use sct (This means I'll be doing away with the 2 auxilliary injectors and going with 8 bigger injectors) NOW I was wondering if I could use the auxilliary inj ports to spray meth into? That would be great if I could.
paxton sn-92. i have the two auxilary injectors too. far as sprayin meth through them, i dont really know....i'm new to all this stuff. maybe one of the other guys can chime in.
when they talk about running meth injection on n/a engines its for guys running high compression so they dont have to run race fuel. they spray it all the time.
meth is its own system. it goes in the intake tube just like a nitrous shark nozzle.
Yeah, I was wondering because on a kenne bell, the auxilliary injectors (which get done away with when using SCT) are located on top of the intake. Maybe thats too close to the intake for compressing the oxygen with the meth? I wondered if anyone else did this or had asked (and got an answer)
you can install the meth nozzle right in the carb hat no problem
