running that muffler now. Just put it on last week.

Sounds strong at idle for a six.

It's got some rumble on higway and crusing.

Again this is with a six, A v8 would sound much better.

Magnaflow XL mufflers look like this. Which are not a straight thru design.


I have the straight thru 18" long body muffler on my Dak, which I guess you heard already from my sound clips. If you want it louder and deeper go with a 14" long body.

Personally I love the way mine sounds with the duals. But if your keeping your stock single pipe go with the 14" body.

You'll really enjoy it!!!

Thats the kind of info i am looking for.I think i will look for the 5x8 14" ss muffler.I will stay with the stainless style because it is a daily driver.I will also do the homemade CAI and relocate the ATS. Thanks or your help....Oh what is the part # i want????

I don't have a QC, I have a CC.

I have no resonance in the cab, I actually find the interior sound level to be just perfect not to loud while cruising, but when you hit the gas she comes a live!!!

Once the muffler breaks in, it's not a big difference in sound. But you'll notice it.
The size is up too you!! I never heard a 14" muffler before.

It's a offset/center muffler that is needed.
