Not to long ago I bought a suregrip limited slip for my truck but didn't use it. I sold it to a buddy with almst same truck as mine. Well I got a txt from him today sayn he can't get it adjustd right. Too much play. It sucks I couldn't see it for myself. According to him its bottoming out on the right side. The shim on right is all the way out and the left is all in. He mentioned tryn to hav a .008 shim made to go between the carrier and the gear. I don't know enough to help him out but feel obligated since I told him it would work. The splines are correct and so is ring gear size. Also, this is a complete carrier assembly. Any help would be appreciated.

Shouldn't need shims... There are threaded adjusters on each side of the carrier...
