Man, this thread got wore out with all sorts of allegations if inferiority. All I have to say is; The Hooker long tubes work. Just ask The McCormack family. Secondly, I believe that the Southeast Headers would work great in certain drag applications. But, if you want to know what header works the best, the McCormacks used hooker long tubes and got great results, I believe these new headers will work well on the strip. Not so well on the street. But, I sure as hell can't understand all the damn pissy bitchin' about it. Racers are always trying new applications to get that last little .10 out of their vehicle, especially stock class racers. It would do some of you a bit of good to check out some of their tricks. A few of the are running 1.5 or more under their class index, in a "stock" truck.

Reviving this old thread, hard to search for header details when there's 3 different types for the same manufacturer keywords.

Has anyone successfully installed a set of the Spintech 1 7/8" longtubes? This truck has PPH 1 5/8" Mid-Lengths, I suspect that I should upgrade to something bigger and I'm debating between the Spintech 1 3/4" mid-lengths or the 1 7/8" longtubes.

I run them on the r/t. Had to push the firewall back on the passenger side. I also had to extend the slip tubes because it did not go in far enough to seal.

Ok so i am going to really throw a curve ball at everyone here.... I have a gen1 Dak with a 360 LA motor and am switching it over to Brodix B1 - BA heads... Anyone see any problem or ever tried using the spintechs in a gen1 or 2 Dakota??? I have no choice need to go bigger tube than the hooker super comps i currently have and the idea of building from scratch doesnt appeal to me at all!!!
