Its an 88 with a 318... I had to walk away before I kicked my foot through the grill.

I changed out the cap, rotor, plugs and wires. It starts up fine but when i give it gas to go it dies. We just had the trans rebuilt last week and I really hope its not that.

Im gonna go check and make sure I've got the wires in the right order on the cap, the new one didnt have a "1" on it to know where to start so I went off of memory.

any ideas?

Thanks,
Danny

Go back over everything, if it ran fine before then its something you did. Whats it sound like when it's running?

My brother is a knuckle head... Apparantly I didnt teach him how to make sure the wire clipped onto the plug all the way... they were just pushed on and arcing. good enough to start but not good enough to run
