..well...I love trophy trucks and prerunners and have posted alot of pics of both on here aswell as renderings of my durango.....I have had a few people send me messages about me starting a build thread so they could get a closer look at my durango....will try to post pics in somewhat order of the things i have done in the order I have done them..and any pics of trucks that i an stealing ideas from.....would like any input...good or bad...or any links , ideas or info to help me in my build...enjoy!!!

...today I shaved the body line ( inset of the liftgate) and installed gate pins. Also fixed the dents in the drivers side front bumper...sand the entire thing and painted it black ....and painted the dash bezel met. siler...and hard mounted my garmin gps to it.......wont be long until everything is black....

...lol..no i wont do it half ass. i might take alot longer to build it than must...but i do almost all of my work...i built this over 2 yrs time with my son..at the time he was 12..we had a blast ..but it did take awhile...but was worth it..won 17 trophies with that one and wish to hell i hadnt sold it...my son wishes too..he is 15 now...and wanted it...
i remember some controversy starting over these photos in an older thread....

...lol..yah..i hope so too..i got carried away and apologized to him.....just get alittle wound up when people ask me why i didnt or want to do something...people act like i should know the anwser!i remember some controversy starting over these photos in an older thread....

....yes...very good grasshopper...just for now..they are half glassed and filled.......going to get some FIBERwerx full fiberglass fenders ( for a chevy 1500 - 2007) and glass them into the top half of mine ( like they used to do in the old days......these are just to get me by until i get the widened front prerunner bar that will follow the front bumper better on then i will put the full glass one on..dont like the look of the fiberglass unlimited fenderset right at the headlight..so i am going a different route...but dont worry..2 layers of glass and very little filler..I did it right....they wont crack...these fenders....the rear will be the hard part...

not that i can find...can only find ford explorers and expeditions.and a few others.......have done a ton of research about the different trucks...so that my plan..or lack there of...but thats okay...when i did the sunfire i couldnt find stuff that was different or that i like ( the front headlight were from a 2001 civic - people thought I was insane till thay saw it finished...) ..so i made my own plan as i went...and thats what it looks like im going to have to do here...wish i could find " bajadak"...would love to ask him some stuff and see some pics of his dak.......but all over the desert sites and such...he just disappeared.....
