I got mine today. Which is for the fog lights and which is for the head lights? Only difference I can see if, the set with the big blue plug I believe is for the head lights, the other set doesn't have this big blue plug, are those for the fog lights?
Big Blue plug is headlights, and the fogs really suck not going to lie JM. But They have like a metal prong and that slides into the factory harness I think its kinda ghetto. But I threw tape over it.

Can you take some pictures please? Mine are packaged up still, if the quality isn't that good, i'd rather just have factory fogs. I hate messing with wires!:mullet:

Thats the way a 889 bulb is formated to fit into a stock harness. There is no other way to format those light bulbs. You can look at any other brand and its the same way

ohhh, so that is why one handle has 889 on it:p It will be some time before I give them a whirl. Only problem I had is one of the plastic cap protectors wasn't all the way on the bulb leaving it exposed, I didn't see any grease on it, it should be fine:mullet:

I just hooked up my bixenon kit and cant seem to get any different output from switching to high or low. It stays the same brightness whether high beam is on or off. Anybody else have this problem or know what the hell I did wrong?

I connected and reconnected everything stiull nothing. I unplugged my three pin factory headlight connector and one of the outside wires would have 12 volts and the other side wire have 3 volts and then when I switched to high beam it would be the same way but reversed so I know im getting the right signals BUT when I connect that connector to the HID connector the voltage automatically goes to 12 volts on both outside wires whether I put it on low or high beam. Its like it has a bad relay or something.

I know zilch about electrical. Reason I didn't get the bi xenon, I only need high/low to pass inspection, the low beams on the hid's are more than enough. I'll just put in a stock bulb when inspection comes if the inspector is a jerk off, high/low beams will be the least of my inspection worries.

Now i'm quite the ruhtard sometimes. For the head lights, everything is connected correctly I believe, only change is the big blue plug goes into the factory harness. Correct???

Now these fog lights are confusing me. Is everything plugged in correctly and I use the red/black pointed wires and connect them to something? Or does the harness plug into the ballasts? I don't have a truck to look @ , it's been a year so I can't remember.

I got mine today, but in the wrong temp, I got 4500 and I ordered 6000K. I'll PM JM soon, how do I assure myself that I got the Bi-Xenon Kit? What should I look for?
should have come with some kind of relay that needs to be wired. easy installation still. no splicing.

i had this problem on my sisters car. inside the big plug coming from the car i had to rearrange the pins in it. you unplug 2 pins in the car harness and rearrange them and then try it until the brights change.

you have them correct. i dont know about these brand of hids but on the goldeneye's sometimes the big plug going into the ballast had to be switched around. if you plug them in and turn on the lights and they dont work. unplug the ballast conmnection and turn it around and it should work

[/QUOTE]

that is also correct. just plug those two pins into the plug on the truck and if it doesnt light up switch them around and it should work. once youget them working i wrapped mine in between and all around tight with electrical tape. i have had them for 2 years now on my ss with no problems

also if the bulbs get grease or if you touch them with your fingers clean them off with rubbing alcohol or they will burn out very fast

So where did you guys mount the fogs ballast at?
i drilled holes in the bottom of the frame rail and mounted them right there behind the fog location
