I've been looking for some time and have never seen one. I have a 1998 Dakota 5.2L V8 and its rebuild time. Took my rig to a custom muffler shop in Anchorage and they told me its "Impossible" for any muffler shop to install such an animal as it's illegal as Hell. Y-Pipe to Cat and Cat back to dual. Forgive me I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed but doesn't that make the Cat the choke point. Is that why everybody and their brother starts smacking their lips at 3". Is there a set of headers that give GOOD performance and not start at $595.00 (Gibson). I not entirely cheap but I'm not building a rocket either. Just looking to do what it takes to get me into the 300-325hp arena.

Your thoughts please.

Hello there neighbor! Brian here in Anchorage , Bayshore area . Hopefully all is going well there with you and yours . Do you still have the Durango? I’ve acquired a 1998 Durango 4x4 with the 360 from a bathroom remodel. Any luck on the true dual exhaust? I want to eliminate the stock crap and go true dual all the way back, getting rid of the catalytic converter . Thanks.
