I have a 2005 Dakota 4.7 SLT and I keep getting random P0218 codes.... Sometimes for 15 to 30 seconds and sometimes I have to turn the engine off and restart to clear .... Sometimes they will start before the engine is even warmed up ???? Anyone else have this problem ??

The P0218 code means that the transmission temperature has exceeded the maximum allowable limit that has been set by the vehicle's manufacturer.
