guess im the only one who cares lol
lol yeah shipping sucked but i couldnt pass up the $5.50 bid lolEven w/ the ridiculous shipping you got a deal!
thanks man:mullet:it looks pretty sharp, good buy.
i know i know, not your style but i had to have something new.Ehh...
If that's your plan you should have went with the one I got, it puts the filter about where the stock air box is and comes with a K&N filter for $88 shipped. When I get more time I'm going to cut the tube a little shorter and cut out a slot in my air box so it will work just like the K&N over priced piece of junk.i know i know, not your style but i had to have something new.
ill probably take that cone filter off and slap a K&N on there
yeah i already have the K&N filter though, brand new, never even been used.If that's your plan you should have went with the one I got, it puts the filter about where the stock air box is and comes with a K&N filter for $88 shipped. Some people are just natural born assholes and feel it's their mission in life to criticize everything. All we can hope for is that someday he'll grow up!Ehh...

There are some in the $15-20 range. but open element is far from the best placement (hot air)... which is what I was comparing to the posted intake since the tube is so short.^Open element cost's more, other then that IDK. Pretty sure open sucks more air aswell.
15-20 for just the filter right? You still need the stuff to make it work then to, unless that stuff is really cheap to. I know it is horrible placement and I'm not real sure why people run them. There are some in the $15-20 range. but open element is far from the best placement (hot air)... which is what I was comparing to the posted intake since the tube is so short.
Damn nice setup at a damn good price! :mullet:Check these out .....

I bought one for my 5.9 Dakota and I'm very pleased with it. I made them an offer of $65 and they accepted it, so it was $95 shipped.
HUGE filter, 4 inch piping, nice finish, has the air-dam like a K&N. Comes with all the brackets and such ..... even a billet throttlebody spacer if you want to use it.
The only fault was the longer bolts that come with the kit to install the TB spacer had the wrong threads ...... 3 bucks at the hardware store fixed that.
Just thought I'd tell you about it .... I'm happy with mine. Pretty damn nice set-up for less than $100. Ask Dwight about it .... he's seen mine on my truck.
