I've got a 2000 Dakota with the manual shift indicator.
Looking to pick up a 2002 Durango instrument panel with the digital shift indicator.

Can anyone tell me whether this will work or fail?

Thanks in advance

Isn't going to work.

Your '00 model uses CCD BUS communication (two-wires) and the 01+ trucks use PCI BUS communication (one-wire).

If will physically fit, but won't work properly.

Besides, the digital gear indicator was only on 01+ and '00 models with the 4.7. Your transmission cannot tell the cluster what gear its in.

Different transfercase pattern and/or linkage setup.

What does this have to do with the instrument panel discussion?
