Howdy,
My ps pump went bad after many leaky years. I git the cheapest pump off amazon (mea culpa). Of course it needed an 18mm pulley and mines a 17. Finally got it on, and now when I start the truck the hose blows off the bottom of the ps fluid cooler. I replaced the spring clap with 2 ss hose clamps. That gave me 30 seconds before the hose blew off again.
  • I’m thinking obstruction, and will get some compressed air in there...please let me know if that’s a terrible idea. I’m known for them.
  • The crappy pump is putting out too much pressure? Has that happened?

Any and all ideas are accepted with humble gratitude.

Best

Doug

Hmmm. Pretty sure it is. I’m going to remove the cooler from the circuit first, and double check my flow direction. Good idea.

I had to delay work o; that. Got covid and cold here. It’s supposed to warm up soon. I’ll report in here when I get it working- or when I have mire info and need more advice.

Cold ? -24F here this morning. Now THAT'S cold.

Supposed to warm up for 1 day, tomorrow, to nearly +30F. That's almost a 55 degree temperature swing!

Get well.
