I am doing the 3.9 to 5.9 swap with a 2001 v6 and using a rusted out 2000 Dakota RT. Im adding the 2 injector wires plus the negatives, instead of swapping harnesses.

I have my 2001 5.9 RT pcm and i have the pins for the pcm plug for the 2 injector missing. I have those pin numbers. I just dont know exactly where to get the correct wire... Ive read its a 14 gauge wire but im not sure.

If anyone knows what size it is and even if anyone knows where i could get this correct wire.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You could pull them out of the 2000 RT; but for 1996 (last year I have a book for), it specs the injector wires as 16GA on the Dark Green/Orange feed wire, and 18ga on the color coded per injector ground wire. 14ga will work just peachy keen.

Well i have a photo here of a couple injectors i zoomed in on. I do know I could pull them out of the 2000 harness but I'm being a weirdo not wanting to disturb that harness if I don't have to and just have new.

But as you can see in the picture what you said seems right.. dark green/orange and then the color coded wire

Thank you very much though that has helped me a lot. I'll just continue researching to make sure
