I have a 2001 Dakota quad with a 4.7 that has fluctuation of idle speed and Fluctuation of RPM at high way speed. I have replaced the TPS sensor and the IAC sensor and still no fix to the problem.
What next step should I take to try and cure this problem. Your suggestions are greatly appreciated.

It’s had a 1494 code that I couldn’t find the problem to until today. Found a broken vacuum hose from the EVAP solenoid to the intake. After repairing that the engine even ran worse.
Tested the new TPS and it had a fault in the throttle voltage reading. Reinstalled the old TPS and everything works great. Should of looked a bit more into the 1494 code and wouldn’t of had to replace the TPS and IAC when I didn’t have to.
