Ok.. i have a 99 Dakota Sport and was having caliper issues on bothe sides.. on my passenger side i used that tap and thread spring kit and it worked. Now on my drive side was going to do the same thing but my bracket is cracked where the bottom guide pin goes.. so my question is can i replace just the bracket or is it more to it???

If the part that is cracked does not bolt on to the knuckle, then you will
have to replace the knuckle. On some the mount bracket will bolt to
the knuckle, and others the mount is part of the knuckle. If you get a
used one , make sure the caliper slides do not have ruts in them, or
the caliper will not slide freely.
Good luck, Daddyododge1
