Been researching the high flow y pipes and found that my 99 should have a 2 in 1 out cat close to the headers. Thats not whats under my truck. I measured the smaller pipes to be about 2" going into about a 2.5" then straight past the cross member to the cat. Now that I've been reading im pretty sure a shop did this by the p/o. Seems like I don't need to upgrade my y pipe anymore. What do you guys think about this setup

looks as "stock" as teh day is long..... what kind of "99" do you have? the full size trucks had what you describe.. yours looks just like what is in my 99 Dakota.

I had an 02 Dakota that had that stock setup and have an 04 Dakota with the Cats right after the manifolds. Both QC 4x4's
