Was on my way to work the other day in my R/T, I pulled off the highway and ended up behind this corvette, I think it was like a 04 or something. Well we were coming up to a red light so i get in the left lane right next to him, light turns green i gun it, he guns it and he just smoke's my ass, by the time I hit 60 he's like 6-8 cars in front of me so i just slow down and start laughing, I Hate corvette's.

Them newer Vette's ARE fast...maybe mess with the older stock ones, they're not as fast. My buddy takes his dad's 98 (auto) out all the time....I think it's only good for maybe 14's in a 1/4. He doesn't race it though and really doesn't push it hard.....I've tried I on the freeway once, but wouldn't hit it.

Vettes on the gas, now that's F A S T ! Holly hell saw a Z06 on giggle gas take off the other day... Wowsa! I'd guess like a low 12 (at about 4700ft at that!)

I was reading in the new motor trend that the new '07 Z06 Vetter is now 505hp and ran the quarter in 11.7sec stock. Um... holy f**k!!! Kick my Sonata's ass thats for certain.

The C6 Z06 is gonna be totally badass! Mid 11's @ mid 120's, i think we'll see a good driver on a sticky tire get one into the 10's. Definitely the best thing going, and for only $65K (sticker anyway, I'm sure they'll sell for more than that).

i hate the vettes that like to mess with slower cars. every car i had was messed with. when i had my iroc a vette decide to burn rubber with me behind him then jetted. slowed down and turn. in my first talon i was just flying down the highway racing this retarded neon and a vette thought it would be cool and pass us both. i was in my truck at the light and this vette stops by me and starts to rev his motor. so i reved mine and he burn rubber and flew while i just watch him go down the road then he got pulled over. i had my friend point and laugh at him. then in second talon we raced on the highway, but it must of been slow or a bad driver because we were neck and neck till i relized i was going 110 in a 65.

Maybe he just didn't feel like racing? I dunno but how do you think you looked to him revving then flipping him off...if you want to race someone, just ask them "how about a little run?" Most people out there don't like the idea of running on the street, so I'd rather ask right from the get go.

haha i beat a vette stop light to stop light......only cuz he was a little to throttle happy and lit em up he had to let up and restart man he was coming fast though..he still almost beat me.....was a 91 vette 6 speed....all vettes are crazy fast...the new z06 smokes vipers and then there coming out with the zr1 which is the 6.2 supercharged....620 hp...

2008 Z06 sitting at a dealership here is listed (window sticker) for 90 grand...............do we pay that much more up here for cars?

the new vettes are nice and all, but judging what i seen on top gear when they tested one, they said it was absolutley brutal on the road. felt like every pebble in the road. fast yea!!! gear box is noisy they said, the exhaust is harsh i think they said too.
