Ok so i have a 2004 dodge Dakota and in the middle of doing a 6.1L hemi swap stroked to a 426. so i have the 45rfe transmission and i contacted a company yesterday with all the latest and greatest rebuild that you can get, well he told me the transmission will not hold to the power. What do you think or what do you recommend?

This is going to be a daily driver but with the power to hammer down when needed.
My 545RFE in my Durango took 200k miles before it’s first fluid change. Dealer complimented me on the fluid. They’re indestructible.

You do have the limitations of the holding strength of the clutches / friction material, but change trans fluid as soon as you finish the motor, check color of fluid often and see if it gets dark QUICK, you’re burning clutch material and you need to let up on the pedal. That’s all.
