It should, I just helped a guy named Tony with his 03 4x4 Hemi swap. After he added some circuits for the hemi engine and the Hemi ECM the truck fired right up. If your ECM has 4 plugs it will easier than the 3 plug ECM. I am working on a complete plug-n-play wiring harness kit. Should have a few sets out soon. I will be building the harness then running them on my test truck before I offer them for sale.

Thank you for the info. My swap is on hold for now the hemi I have is a 2016 and dont think I can afford that kind of swap. I need to to find 03-05 ram for the hemi and parts I'll need from that as well.

I have SCT Pro Racer package and use it to tune the 2006 4.7 PCM that is running my moded 2007...5.7 Hemi in my truck. The thing SCOOTS and got better than 18 mpg running to Corpus Christi/Padre Island from Euless, TX this weekend....Cruised 75-85 MPH most of the way too..

How did you connect the Hemi harness to the Dakota at the grey and black plugs at the fuse box?

A. What's your timeframe?

B. What's your budget/offer for this? This and the timeframe are important, because if you need it back pronto, it's going to cost you more than if it's something I can work on in spare time.

C. Are you prepared to ship me both harnesses and pay for shipping both ways?

D. I'll need high quality/high resolution pictures of the engine bay with the 5.7 installed, along with some indicator of scale (ideally just run a tape measure from the firewall across the top of the engine to the radiator core before you start taking pics). If any sensors or anything are in significantly different places, make sure they are clearly identified on the pics of the new engine. I have a 4.7 in mine so I know where they WERE, I just need to know where they're GOING.

E. Are you going to want the whole thing taken apart, cleaned and re-taped/re-loomed so it looks brand new or are you ok with how it looks now (ie: is the rest of the engine compartment going to be cleaned/painted/dressed up or is this just "make it work")?
Can you do this to any of the Dakotas? I have A 06 Hemi out of a Durango going in a 05 Dakota?
